Reon Marais achieved his B. Proc degree from the University of the Witwatersrand during 1981 and was admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa during the same year.
He served 5 years of clerkship with a few small to medium sized legal firms prior to admission as an attorney.
Reon was admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa during the same year.
Reon was then admitted as a Commissioner of the Small Claims Court and sat on the bench of the Johannesburg Small Claims Court for a period of two years.
Has to his credit no less than three reported judgements in the South African Law Reports thereby creating legal precedent.
